Pakistan's troop violate ceasefire along LOC in Kashmir

A day after Pakistan warned India against any adventurism on its side of the border, its troops resorted to unprovoked firing along the Line of Control on Thursday. As per reports, Pakistani troops opened fire on a patrol party of the Indian Army along the LoC at Sawjian sector in Poonch. Indian troops are reported to have retaliated in equal measure. The ceasefire violation came just two days after India conducted a surgical operation in Myanmar against Northeast militants and described the strikes as a message for other neighbours who allow their territories to be used against India.
