Former NBA All-Star Brandon Roy is expected to make a full recovery after reportedly suffering a gunshot wound this past weekend while visiting his grandmother in Southern California. Roy was an innocent bystander when the shots broke out and was injured while protecting nearby children. Since retiring from the NBA at age 28 due to a series of knee injuries, Roy has reclaimed some of his former star after being named the country's best high school coach this past season.
