Former Republican congressman Joe Walsh was slammed after mocking Jimmy Kimmel's newborn son who underwent emergency open-heart surgery. Kimmel opened up about his son's, Billy, condition, calling attention to America's health insurance system. “Before 2014, if you were born with congenital heart disease, like my son was, there’s a good chance you’d never be able to get health insurance because you had a pre-existing condition," Kimmel In response, Walsh reacted with a nasty tweet. Twitter users immediately pointed out that Walsh once owed $117,000 in child support.
