Clashes in Anantnag as police detains Geelani

Clashes broke out between the police and supporters of Syed Ali Shah Geelani in Anantnag district of south Kashmir after the police detained the Kashmiri separatist hours before his scheduled public address. The spokesperson said that dozens of Hurriyat leaders were also detained along with Mr Geelani.
