Haridwar ban : NGT bans plastic bottles in Haridwar

There is a news for all the devotees planning to go to haridwar in the coming days or months. The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has banned the use of plastic bottles around the banks of Uttarakhand here to keep a check on the pollution in and around the river Ganges. Not only the use but sale of plastic bottles has been barred. The NGT has asked the state government to ensure ban on sale of plastic bottles near the Ganges and shutdown all shops selling them.
