Despite all out efforts by Congress government in Karnataka, let it be an attempt to postpone the elections to the BBMP Council on one or the other pretext, BJP candidates won from 101 wards out of 198 wards. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has tweeted thanking the voters of the city for the support given to the BJP. A total of 1,121 candidates are in the fray.
