Sania Mirza's Khel Ratna Award stayed by Karnataka HC

Sania Mirza's Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award has been stayed by Karnataka High Court on Wednesday after a plea from parlympian athlete, HN Girisha. Girisha, the Indian Paralympian who won silver at London 2012 Parlympics and bronze at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games for high-jump, had filed a petition with the court, expressing disappointment at being overlooked for India's highest sporting honour.
