Berlin, Apr 21 (EFE).- A Russian-German citizen was arrested on suspicion of carrying out an attack on the Borussia Dortmund soccer team's bus, said the German federal prosecutor's office on Friday.

According to the prosecutor's statement, the suspect, Sergej W., 28, acquired a total of 15,000 options, or rights to sell Dortmund shares, on Apr. 11, the same day as three devices were detonated near the bus, lightly injuring two.

He bought the options using a loan he had taken out a week earlier.

The prosecution said the suspect wanted to use the attack on Dortmund's bus to achieve a considerable drop in shares and thus profit from selling them at a price that had been previously established when he had acquired the options.
