New Stealth Fighters Deployed Overseas For The First Time

by Anthony FalcoThese U.S. stealth fighter jets have just recently touched down in the U.K.The U.S. Air Force’s F-35A Lightning II aircrafts were deployed for the first time overseas, arriving at RAF Lakenheath in England to train with the Royal Air Force and NATO. The F-35A can reach speeds of over 1,200 mph, has a range of nearly 1,400 miles and can carry a weapons payload of up to 18,000 pounds. The fleet will take part in joint NATO training at a time of rising tension with Russia.
