The World’s First Electric Vertical Takeoff And Landing Jet

by Anthony FalcoTthe world’s first electric vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) jet just passed its first flight tests. Designed by Lilium Aviation, the electric VTOL is powered by 36 electric engines, which release zero emissions. It can fly 186 mph for 186 miles. The tests were done with a two-seater VTOL, with plans to build a five-seater in development. Lilium plans to market the jet as an on-demand air taxi and rideshare.
