Meat Ban : Now Haryana won't taste meat for 8 days

After Rajasthan and Mumbai now, the Haryana government has ordered a eight-day ban on sale of meat during the Jain fasting period of 'Paryushan'. The state government has ordered closure of all slaughter houses from September 11 to September 18, according to a news agency. Haryana has now become the fifth BJP-ruled state to enforce the ban on meat after Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chattisgarh and Rajasthan.
