WhatsApp, Facebook exempted by Government from Encryption Policy

After the announcement that users will have to store their Whatsapp, SMS and E-mail conversations for upto 90 days as per the National Encryption Policy, the Government did a U-turn and has now exempted Whatsapp, Twitter, Facebook and other payment gateways from encryption policy.
