Meghalaya : IB officer kidnapped and killed by militants

An Intelligence Bureau inspector was kidnapped and killed by armed militants in South Garo hills district of Meghalaya, according to the reports. Inspector Bikash Singh, who was abducted along with a cloth merchant, was found dead on Friday. He was newly recruited as Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) in Meghalaya. However, the fate of the other one is not known.
