Delhi High Court has dismissed the PIL seeking a ban on cow slaughter and sale of beef in Delhi-NCR. There is no beef ban in Delhi for now. The plea was filed by a man claiming to be a monk and his name is Swami Satyananda Chakradhari. He had also sought directions to the state government to set up a "Gokul Gram" where old cows, bulls and bullocks can be rehabilitated.
