Gwen Stefani Cancels Vegas Show Due To Ruptured Eardrum
  • 7 years ago
Gwen Stefani was forced to cancel a live performance in Las Vegas at the last minute due to a ruptured eardrum.

The singer and “Voice” coach made the decision after doctors told her she was not allowed to fly to Vegas from LA and could not perform because of her injury.

Gwen was scheduled to play a live 30 minute set of her hits to guests who had paid as much as $1000 a ticket, with some front row tables costing $100,000.

It’s not clear how Gwen suffered the injury but she made sure to apologize to the crowd in a live video presentation at the event.

A doctor in attendance claimed an eardrum could take months to heal and she may not be able to sing during that time.

Eardrum damage has affected many musicians in the past, even leading to them being unable to perform for long periods of time.

Event organizers were able to replace her with Jennifer Hudson, but we’re hoping for a swift and full o recovery for Gwen!
