United Airlines reaches settlement with David Dao

United Airlines and Dr. David Dao reached a settlement Dao’s lawyers did not disclose the terms of the settlement, but they did commend United CEO Oscar Munoz on handling the situation. Dao's Lawyer Thomas Demetrio On April 9, Dao was dragged from his seat on an overbooked United flight from Chicago. He suffered a concussion, a broken nose, and lost two of his teeth because of the incident. United apologized profusely for the incident and said that the settlement between Dao was an “amicable resolution of the unfortunate incident.”
