Trump to stick with NAFTA trade pact for now

President Trump decided not to withdraw from NAFTA, a landmark free trade agreement with Canada and Mexico. The news broke after reports on Wednesday suggested Trump was planning to sign an executive order to pull out of the deal. "President Trump agreed not to terminate NAFTA at this time and the leaders agreed to proceed swiftly, according to their required internal procedures to enable the renegotiation of the NAFTA deal to the benefit of all three countries," White House. The deal was originally negotiated by George H.W. Bush and implemented by Bill Clinton in 1994.
