CM Akhilesh to skip PM Modi's program due to Noida Jinx

Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav is unlikely to attend PM Narendra Modi’s programme in Noida on December 31, owing to the so-called “Noida jinx”. The two-decade-old political jinx has had chief ministers of Uttar Pradesh shying away from visiting Noida for fear of losing election.
