World of tennis was rocked by allegations that the game`s authorities have failed to deal with widespread match-fixing, just as the Australian Open kicks off. Reports claimed 16 top-50 players in the past decade, including Grand Slam champions, had been repeatedly suspected of fixing matches for betting syndicates.
