The top seeded women’s doubles pair beat Lyudmyla and Nadiia Kichenok in straight sets 6-2, 6-3, to continue their unstoppable run in 2016. the 63 minute match saw powerful performance by the Indo-Swiss pair. Mirza and Hingis will next face Russian-Italian pair of Svetlana Kuznetsova and Roberta Vinci for a quarterfinal berth.
