Palestinian Prisoners Joined Hunger Strike in Protest

Dozens of Palestinians prisoners in Israeli jails joined a mass hunger strike launched by over 1500 Palestinian detainees one week ago. The Head of the Palestinian Committee of Prisoners' Affairs Issa Qaraqe, said in a statement, that 80 new Palestinian prisoners in the Ofer, and Maajedo prisons, have joined the "freedom and dignity" strike to protest ill-treatment, torture, medical neglect and administrative detention without charge or trial.
