Odisha scholar hangs herself during video call with friend

A 34-year-old research scholar working with the Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (IMMT) allegedly committed suicide while talking to her friend in video chat. This incident happened in Mancheswar, Odisha on the night of 9th Feb. The deceased Subhalaxmi Acharya was found hanging from the ceiling fan while her mobile phone was fixed on the window of her rented accommodation.
