Prison where Aaron Hernandez hanged himself on lockdown

The prison where Aaron Hernandez committed suicide with a bed sheet is on lockdown as officials look into the ex-NFL player's death. “It’s in lockdown and one of the reasons is because of issues with Mr. Hernandez. And things that have happened with Mr. Hernandez,” Daniel Bennett, the state’s top public safety officer, said in court. What officials are exactly investigating isn't yet clear. Prison officials discovered three suicide notes that Hernandez left behind, but Bennett did not say whether they are part of the investigation.
