The longtime Voice judge and country crooner has never been soft spoken, especially when it comes to his relationship with Gwen Stefani. He knows that some fans ask just what in the world this California beauty is doing with some hillbilly Okie.
Blake tells The Today Show, “In people’s defense, I think it’s so hard for people to wrap their head around why Gwen would want to be with me… I don’t blame ‘em.”
Of course, it might be Blake’s easygoing, humble yet confident attitude that keeps her around… Anything else is probably just a rumor.
As Blake points out, he tells Today, “Any time you see a story about us, it’s either that it’s a fake relationship or that we’re already married. Or we’re gonna get married, or she’s on her second set of twins. Or you know, I’m sneaking behind her back to eat meat. I eat meat right in front of her face.”
