DMK releases election manifesto, promises smartphones with 4G

DMK released its election manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections at the DMK headquarters on Sunday. Karunanidhi promised Rs.300,000 subsidy for converting thatched houses into concrete houses and reduction of milk price by Rs.7 per litre. Targeting the youth, he promised waiver of education loans, tablets or laptops bundled with 3G/4G internet connection and 10GB per month download option for 16 lakh students and smart phones for poor families.
