According to the Washington Post, this group includes the president’s daughter and unpaid adviser Ivanka Trump, his son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner, White House press secretary Sean Spicer, and White House counselor Kellyanne Conway.
A recent Politico report states that “Conway might be the most overexposed of President Donald Trump’s West Wing aides; in November, the Daily Mail published a 59-photo slideshow of the Republican strategist lounging poolside in her bathing suit while on a family vacation...”
Conway told Politico about the attention, “This is nothing I ever sought or expected.”
Meanwhile, paparazzi are reportedly being paid to monitor the comings and goings of the first daughter and her husband at their Washington, D.C. home, and one photographer even admits to tracking Spicer for potentially lucrative shots of him at home or elsewhere.
The public’s awareness of Spicer, whose predecessors have maintained much lower profiles, has particularly skyrocketed since being portrayed by Melissa McCarthy on 'Saturday Night Live.'
A piece by Fox News’ Howard Kurtz argues that the visibility of Trump’s top team members is one reason internal policy debates have become public fodder.
