Malinga ruled out of Mumbai team, due to knee injury

Sri Lanka pace spearhead Lasith Malinga has been ruled out of the ongoing Indian Premier League season 9 after his franchise team's medical team found him unifit for at least another four months beacuse of an recurring knee injury. Malinga sustained the injury during West Indies' tour of Sri Lanka last November, and has battled to regain fitness since then.
