Captain Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers smashed brisk half centuries to guide Bangalore to a well-deserved 13-run win over Pune at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Friday. Sent to bat first, Bangalore players De Villiers scored 83 runs off 46 balls with the help of six boundaries and two sixes and Kohli’s smashes 80 off 63 deliveries. Later they managed to restrict Pune to 172 for eight.
