Sonam Kapoor slams her trollers over national anthem comment

Striking yet another controversy, actress Sonam Kapoor has proved yet again that whether its about her fashion sense or social media posts, she handles her critics with courtesy.
Talking about a campaign of a leading tabloid, the actress said, “I love my country but for some of you — and you’re the bigots, not me — I become ‘anti-national’ only because I ask questions or choose to be critical. Listen to the national anthem…recall the line you heard as kids, ‘Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Issai…”

The portion referring to Hindu-Muslim was misunderstood by Twitteratis and they began trolling Sonam heavily.

But the actress, slammed the trollers by this tweet saying

Taking a stand she said, “Thank you so much twitter for the amazing response to my article and also to the #trolls who proved my point by the way they responded.”
Sonam, to our surprise, was correct as the lines which she quoted was a taken from the remaining stanza of the national anthem.
