Virat Kohli Kohli has now become the highest run-getter in a single season of the Indian Premier League and by doing so he has broken Chris Gayle’s 733-run mark to create a new record. He set this record during RCB vs KKR at Eden Gardens where RCB beat KKR by nine wickets. Gayle scored 733 runs for RCB in 15 matches during the 2012 edition and Kohli has moved to 752 in the ongoing edition off only 12 games.
