In what could be a huge embarrassment for the ruling SP government in Uttar Pradesh, a lab in Mathura has said that meat found at Mohammed Akhlaq's Dardri house was beef. Akhlaq was beaten to death and his 22-year-old son Danish critically injured by a 200-strong mob which barged into their house in Greater Noida's Dadri following rumours that the family had consumed beef.
