BCCI today announced that a mini IPL will be conducted in September. BCCI president Anurag Thakur made the announcement at the end of the board's working committee meeting in Dharamsala, terming it the 'mini IPL' or 'IPL overseas'. BCCI sources indicated that the USA and Dubai were in the running to host the event.
