Congress leader Digvijay Singh called controversial preacher Zakir Naik 'messenger of peace' , in a 2012 video. However, Singh has now appealed the government to launch a probe against Naik if there were evidence against him. Zakir Naik the preacher was followed by Dhaka restaurant attackers, who killed 22 people.
