Portugal beat France to win Euro 2016 final with Eder's extra-time goal. Ronaldo got injured after 24 minutes when he was carried crying from the pitch on a stretcher with a knee injury. France looked to take advantage of a stunned and shook Portugal playing without its leading man. Eder, who came on as a 79th-minute substitute, delivered the go-ahead strike for Portugal in extra time with a low blast that beat Hugo Lloris.
