MGR's adopted daughter gets life sentence killing his son-in-law Vijayan| Oneindia News

Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MG Ramachandran’s adopted daughter N Banu Sridhar has been punished with life sentence by a sessions court for the murder of his son-in-law Vijayan. Along with her 6 others were also sentenced to life. Vijayan was beaten to death in Chennai’s Alwarpet area on June 4, 2008. Banu had reportedly paid a constable Rs 4 lakh to execute the murder.
