After wrestler Sakshi Malik who got India its first medal in Olympics this year, It was PV Sindhu who stormed into the badminton finals assuring India a silver medal. She has become the only badminton player to enter the badminton finals of women’s singles competion and that too in her first Olympics by beating Japan's Nozomi Okuhara. Today she will face Spanish top seed Carolina Marin in the finals to aim for gold.
