The Indian government of Monday issued the list of the athletes recommended for various awards for outstanding performance in their receptive field. Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ranta awards would be conferred to Olympics medal winners P.V. Sindhu and Sakshi Malik. Shooter Jitu Rai and Gymnaist Dipa Karmakar have also been named for the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ranta awards. Beside them runner Lalita Babar, boxer Shiva Thapa and cricketer Ajinkya Rahane have been named for the Arjuna awards.
