Feast of the Black Nazarene in Manila (2015)

Every January 9, millions of devotees of the Black Nazarene, a life-size statue of Jesus Christ, go to the old Manila district of Quiapo to join a day-long religious parade. The objective is to touch the statue, as they believe it has miraculous powers. In 2015, around 5.5 million attended, according to Red Cross. Coconuts Manila was there.
