After scoring a personal best of 235 in the 4th Test against England, Virat Kohli has achieved another high in his Test career in the latest International Cricket Council's (ICC) Rankings. in Mumbai, India defeated England by an innings and 36 runs to seal the five-match rubber 3-0 with still a game to play. As a result of his Man-of-the-match performance at Wankhede Stadium, Indian captain Kohli has moved one place up, to the 2nd spot, in the ICC Rankings for Test batsmen.
