EC announces all-women polling stations for upcoming Assembly polls; Watch Video | Oneindia News

Chief Election Commissioner Nasim Zaidi announced in a press conference that women would be given preference and focus would be to bring them to the fore and for that where women as per the local custom or practice do not mingle with men, chief electoral officers have been directed to set up separate polling stations for women. The Election Commission also encourages participation of women in the management of the electoral process and therefore all-women polling stations will also be setup. Watch the video here.
