Elections Commission to buy new EVMs, to replace 9 lakh old models | Oneindia News

The Election commission has decided to do away with old EVM machines after back-to-back allegations and complains over tampering in recently concluded assembly polls. EC will be replacing 9 lakh old EVMs with new ‘M3’-type EVMs machine which will cost around Rs 1,940 cr.
