Alex Ens has claimed that there is one thing that a person can do to sound smarter, without actually being smarter, and that one thing is… nothing. Absolutely nothing!Or, to put it more eloquently, pause between sentences. Alex advises that, rather than using filler words like ‘like’, ‘right’, ‘so’ or ‘okay’, saying nothing and pausing between words can make one appear more intelligent.
