Report: Vanity Fair Suspected To Be Prepping A Hit Piece About Melania Trump

It’s not surprising that a publication would be searching for a scoop about Melania Trump; however, according to Page Six, a story apparently being pursued by Vanity Fair won’t likely be a flattering one.

Melania Trump has, since becoming first lady, kept largely to herself, granting few interviews and making only selective appearances.
Thus, it’s not surprising that a publication would be searching for a scoop about her; however, according to Page Six, a story apparently being pursued by Vanity Fair won’t likely be a flattering one.
Columnist Richard Johnson says that Evgenia Peretz, a reporter for Vanity Fair, has been attempting to interview parents of children who attend school with 11-year-old Barron Trump.
It’s been suggested that very few people have spoken with Peretz, and most have made it a point to avoid being questioned.
A person identified only as a 'White House insider,' said, “it was clear from the questions Peretz asked others and the fact-checking being done that the story will be ‘mean-spirited.’”
Time will reveal Vanity Fair’s plans regarding a future piece about Melania, but it did recently publish an article about public response to her official White House portrait.
The piece outlined some of the more common criticisms of the image, including that it lacked originality and the clothing "was not the work of an American designer but of Italian luxury house Dolce & Gabbana."
