Department of Labor accuses Google of gender pay discrimination

The U.S. Department of Labor sued Google in January, claiming the company failed to disclose information regarding a compliance audit. Now, the agency says it found compensation disparities among women in the entire company. The agency concluded the company pays its female employees significantly less than their male colleagues. The company denied the claims, tweeting that it has "closed gender gap globally."
