Anna Hazare says he was deeply pained by the V K Shunglu committee report that revealed nepotism, ad splurge and by-passing of laws by the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was with me in the fight against corruption. I had great hopes from the young and educated Kejriwal and felt that young people like him will create a corruption-free nation. But he has dashed all my hopes", said Hazare in a statement issued from Ralegan Siddhi.
अन्ना हजारे ने दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल की आलोचना करते हुए कहा है कि वह सत्ता के लिए सभी सिद्धांतों को भूल चुके हैं। वी.के. शुंगलु कमिटी की रिपोर्ट में केजरीवाल सरकार को अधिकारों और नियमों से परे जाकर फैसले लेने, भाई-भतीजावाद और अनियमितता का दोषी बताए जाने से अन्ना हजारे दुखी हैं। अन्ना ने कहा कि केजरीवाल ने जो कुछ किया है उसका वह कभी समर्थन नहीं कर सकते। उन्होंने कहा कि केजरीवाल ने उनकी सारी उम्मीदों को झटका दिया है।
