A white pointer shark approached a fishing boat on Wednesday, April 5, frightening those on board as they enjoyed a day out on the water near Port Fairy, Victoria.One of those on board chose a broom as the best tool with which to urge the shark away, but it returned multiple times.
Daniel Hoey, who filmed the footage, told 9 News they were fishing for yellow tail kingfish as part of a research program when the shark appeared.
