Deadly airstrike kills nearly 300 civilians in Mosul
  • 7 years ago
An airstrike in west Mosul, Iraq left nearly 300 people dead, the largest civilian death toll since the country's battle with ISIS sparked two years ago. While Iraqi officials blame ISIS for the attack, the U.S.-led coalition are looking into the matter. By Wednesday, at least 278 bodies were removed, including many children. It remains unclear how many more people are burried under the rubble.
