Beyoncé May Voice 'Nala' In Remake of 'The Lion King'

Beyoncé may be bringing out her fierce side again in the upcoming live-action remake of “The Lion King”!

According to Variety, Beyoncé is the production’s top choice to voice Nala when they convene to remake the classic. While the deal is not yet official, director Jon Favreau and company will be ready to do whatever it takes to convince her to take the role.

The star singer is of course pregnant with twins and recently had to drop out of headlining the Coachella festival in April. The studio is hoping that since it is just a voice-acting role, the singer will have a much easier time performing.

It would be her first film role since voicing Tara in the animated film Epic in 2013.

Back in February it was announced that Donald Glover will be playing the other lead role in Simba when the film debuts, making this a potential blockbusting power tandem.

With James Earl Jones reprising his role as Mufasa, we’re hoping the “Sasha Fierce” domino falls into place!
