Football Referee Attacked by Spectators at Local Scarborough Cup Final

A non-league cup final game was abandoned when spectators invaded the pitch and attacked the referee in Pickering, North Yorkshire, on Wednesday evening, March 29.Referee Bill Pashby was taken to hospital with a shoulder injury after being charged by a fan in the final eight minutes of the Trophy Trader League Trophy final between Eastway Sports and Goalsports at Pickering FC’s Mill Lane ground, according to The Scarborough News.
