2 Miami-Dade County officers a part of the Homicide Task-Force Unit were ambushed and shot during an investigation. They were at the Annie Coleman apartment complex on the north side. Miami-Dade Police Director Juan Perez noted that his wounded colleagues had to be transported to the hospital via pick up truck. There are currently no suspects, but both officers are in stable condition and expected to survive.
